Les mairies d' Anduze et de Tornac , propriétaire , créent un SIVU ( Syndicat Intercommunal à Vocation Unique ) pour gérer le château et son site en coopération avec notre association .
The city halls of Anduze and Tornac, owners, create a SIVU (Association of communes with Unique Vocation) to manage the castle and its site in cooperation with our Association.

Le château est témoin de l' action des résistants contre l' occupant nazi en fuite.
The castle was a battle place for Resistance fighters against a runaway regiment of Nazi occupants, known as “la Bataille de la Madeleine”

1793
Le château , devenu bien national, est vendu en plusieurs lots et laissé en ruines .
The castle , become national property , is sold in several lots and left in ruins

3 avril (April 3rd) 1792
Le château est incendié par les révolutionnaires.
The castle is burned by the revolutionaries
